Planning for the 4th Annual Kettering Mayor’s Charity
Ball is well underway. This event, hosted by the City
of Kettering and the Kettering Rotary Club, has grown in
success and popularity since its inception in 2006. We
are once again dedicated to raising funds for a non-profit
organization which serves the citizens of Kettering. This
year’s recipient of funds raised will be SICSA, the
Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Stray Animals.
The
gala will be held on Saturday, April
24, 2010 in the lobby
of the Reynolds and Reynolds building in Kettering. In
addition to being an enjoyable evening, the event builds
awareness of the benefiting charity. SICSA is celebrating
their 35th anniversary this year; starting out in the Kettering
Fire House in 1974 and now a state-of-the-art facility
on Wilmington Pike. SICSA has
placed over 50,000 homeless dogs and cats into loving homes
and have spayed and neutered over 60,000 dogs and cats
for the community. SICSA also has programs
in which their animals serve the community; pet therapy
visits to senior centers, nursing homes and schools; career
training for special education students at Fairmont High
School and a partner with project Mobility.
This is an excellent
opportunity to get in front of an affluent audience made
up of leaders in the community, area elected officials,
and patrons committed to Kettering and programs serving
its community. Please take some time
to read the enclosed sponsorship opportunities and consider
being a significant part of this event. We would
love to include you or your company as
a sponsor for this event.
